I am an avid reader who dives into different genres. Today, I will review a couple of Self-Help books.
The first one that I believe every person should read! It’s not just for an artist or writer. Everyone can relate to this book.
Elizabeth Gilbert really breaks down the trials and errors of what it’s like to create. Hoe putting pressure on creativity something magical will not produce great things. She talks about the stress that we as the artist put our selves through to always create something that we will be proud of or make money. The fear of failure theme Elizabeth talks about and how to over come that. It talks about creating a balance between truing creating your masterpiece and reality.

“Fear is always triggered by creativity because creativity asks you to enter into realms of uncertain outcome. This is nothing to be ashamed of. It is, however, something to be dealt with.”
Another book that I highly recommend is
Michael Singer does a fanatic job on gently reminding us how our thoughts can control our mind. If we think negatively then it will become a vicious cyle in our head. He talks about the mental dialog we always having going on in our head can be so bad for our health if the dialog is negative. It’s up to us to do the positive self talk! Singer also talks about how we fight change but change is very important in life.
